Experience

Marion Chajmowicz has been serving in different law firms, in France and in the United States, since 1996. She joined Becker & Associés in 2005 and became a partner in 2007.

Qualifications and professional activities

Marion has a Master Degree in Pharmacology, with a major in Molecular Biology, from the University of Nice (France). She also graduated from the International Patent Law School (CEIPI) in Strasbourg. She is a registered French Patent Counsel and an authorized European Patent Attorney. Marion also graduated from the European Patent Litigation Course.

Marion is also an authorized representative before the Unified Patent Court.

She is a member of LES, AIPPI, and CNCPI professional organizations.

Fields of Expertise

Marion values the diversity of her clients – from public labs, start-ups, to major pharmaceutical companies – and provides tailor made advice to each of them. She builds and consolidates patent portfolios and has developed a solid expertise in Opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office. Marion further conducts studies of freedom to operate and due diligence operations. Her experience in the US has made her particularly sensitive to the issues and constraints of a global protection.
