Anne-Caroline started her career in 2000 when she joined Becker & Associés. She became a partner in 2011.
Qualifications
Anne-Caroline has a scientific background in molecular and cellular biology. She received a Master Degree at the University of Clermont-Ferrand, France, and graduated from the International Patent Law School (CEIPI) in Strasbourg. She also graduated from the European Patent Litigation Course and recently obtained a further Master Degree, in IP law. She is a registered French Patent Counsel and an authorized European Patent Attorney. Anne-Caroline further recently obtained a Diploma in “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intellectual Property” from Strasbourg University,

Anne-Caroline advises her clients in defining and implementing an optimal protection strategy for their innovations. Anne-Caroline possesses a high expertise handling large portfolios for public institutes, innovative start-ups and pharmaceutical companies. She represents her clients in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and performs thorough analysis of patentability or freedom to operate situations. Anne-Caroline is further involved in auditing patent portfolios on behalf of investors and enjoys assisting her clients in due diligence operations or IPOs. Anne-Caroline has also shown a special interest in the AI-related inventions.
