Léa began her career at Becker & Associés in 2017.

Qualifications and professional activities

Léa holds a PhD in Biology, speciality Molecular and Cellular Aspects of Biology, from the University of Strasbourg.
During her PhD, she focused on the development of VHH as diagnostic tools for a viral grapevine disease, she has strengthened her skills in molecular biology, immunology and virology.

She graduated from the International Patent Law School (CEIPI) in Strasbourg and is a qualified European patent attorney.

She is also an authorized representative before the Unified Patent Court.

Fields of Expertise

Léa drafts patent applications and defends them in Europe and internationally. She also conducts patentability analyses and freedom-to-operate studies. Léa particularly enjoys making start-ups aware of IP issues, and watching the start-ups grow, supported by structuring patents.
