Experience
Camille started her career in 2002 in a law firm in Paris where she developed an expertise in prosecution and defense of patent rights in the field of mechanics applied to health and biotechnologies, including medical devices. She then joined Becker & Associés in 2011 and became a partner to the firm in 2023.
Qualifications and professional activities
Camille has a scientific background in molecular and cellular biology. She received a Master Degree at the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6, France, and graduated from the International Patent Law School (CEIPI) in Strasbourg. She also graduated from the European Patent Litigation Course and recently obtained a further Master Degree, in IP law. She is a registered French Patent Counsel and an authorized European Patent Attorney.
Camille is also an authorized representative before the Unified Patent Court.
She is a member of LES and CNCPI professional organizations.
Fields of Expertise
Camille advises and supports her clients in protecting their innovations and building patent portfolios worldwide. She has also developed particular expertise in Opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, especially in cases of multiple oppositions. Her background in biology is completed with an experience in patents relating to combined and implantable medical devices, so that she can now handle a wide variety of technologies. Camille supports several innovative, high-growth biotech companies. She particularly enjoys seeing the products she has helped to protect come to market, and developing protection strategies to consolidate these companies’ assets.
